WELCOME TO AIR TAXI
Air Taxi is a professionally managed aviation company providing chartered flights in India. Operating in the commercial general aviation sector since 2018, A-T offers efficient, safe, affordable, comfortable, and reliable air travel services for point-to-point connectivity (last mile connectivity to an airport nearest to the destination).
Since inception, the company has consistently grown its fleet, proving its ability to provide reliable and efficient air taxi services. Air Taxi holds scheduled and non-scheduled operator permits from DGCA, and is running UDAN-RCS routes with 32 routes under its belt. The company is set to expand further, opening new routes and solidifying its position as a leader in the air taxi industry.

FOUNDERS
CAPT. VARUN SUHAG
Co-Founder & Director
Captain and Chief Pilot (Amphibian) Varun Suhag started learning to fly when in school and got his CPL in 2008. Suhag belongs to a family of pilots - his grandfather, father and grandfather (late) were all army pilots. Suhag grew up in the cockpit of his father's planes. He has flown everything from Cessna (2 seaters) to PC 12s. A great instructor, Suhag is instrumental in teaching many commercial pilots around the world. A pilot with wide experience (11,000+ flying hours), Varun has been the chief pilot of multiple airlines before starting Air Taxi. Besides flying, Suhag also loves theatre and music. Suhag flew India's first seaplane for SpiceJet at Statue of Unity, Gujarat.
CAPT. POONAM GAUR
Co-Founder & Director
Captain Poonam Gaur is a multifaceted aviation leader known for her exemplary career starting as a flight instructor at Gujarat Flying Club and later as a captain at SpiceJet. She is one of the first women pilots in India to fly commercial seaplanes. Captain Gaur believes in diversity and inclusion in the cockpit. She has been instrumental in training many female pilots across India. Her vision is to make air travel accessible and affordable to every Indian. She has over 8,000 flying hours and has been recognized for her contribution to Indian aviation.
